Delivering projects from concept to print, I am a creative practitioner, working in the industry for nearly twenty years and actively directing for the last six.
Currently, in Annapolis Maryland, I lead a team of two multi-disciplined designers, one videographer and several design, video, and photo contractors at Bay Area Community Church. Reporting to the communications director (who has an additional team of two) we make up an all in-house design, marketing and branding “agency”.
My strong suit is unlocking potential in others through thoughtful creative leadership.
I have the heart of a teacher, and my strength as one comes out when I work alongside other creatives, discerning their ideas and helping them shape those, and offering constructive criticism throughout the process so the best product is put forward.
I am a leader passionate about building culture where team members feel like they are truly a part of something meaningful. In fact, my current team has an average retention rate of 8 years.
I am a proud girl dad of three and follower of Jesus.
